| About Institutional Development Network (IDN) |
|
The NGO sector in Pakistan, in terms of actual numbers, has grown rapidly in the last two decades, with estimated numbers now indicating that there are at least 60,000 NGOs in the country, at least 40,000 of them active.
Considering the emerging need of mid-level and small NGOs / Community Based Organizations and other development institutions, CSSP initiated the Institutional Development Network (IDN) to provide technical assistance to community institutions for organizational development and capacity building. The main purpose of this network is to provide a platform to the member organizations for regular interactions as well as receiving technical support from the IDN expert team and consultants. This will help member institutions in creating networking linkages and opportunities to interact with support organizations and donors and gain assistance in different community development interventions.
